Our koi ponds and water gardens start at $5,999 for a 6x8. An 8x11 retreat starts at $8,499, an 11x16 estate at $15,999 and a 21x26 legacy at $27,999. Streams add at $150 per foot.

A 6 to 8 foot stream starts at $6,000. A 16 foot cascade starts at $10,000. A 26 foot falls starts at $16,000.

A fountainscape. A petite 4x4 starts at $3,500 and it still gives you the sound and the sparkle without a big footprint.

The first on-site visit for a quote is free. A full on-site design consultation is $250.

Pick a pond if you want fish, plants and a place to sit and watch life happen. Pick a pondless waterfall if you want the sound with no open water, less maintenance and more peace of mind with little ones around.

Ponds can be built with shelves and gradual edges, and plenty of families love them. If open water worries you, a pondless waterfall has no standing water at all.

How long does a build take?

It depends on the size and the access to your yard. We give you a schedule at the site visit so you know the plan before we dig.

Can you add lighting to a water feature?

Yes. LED lighting packages start at $595 for a 5 light install with a transformer. Dusk is when these features really come alive.

What does monthly maintenance include?

For $170 a month we clean debris, clean the filters and skimmer, check the pump and lights, trim plants, net out leaves and keep it picture ready. Water testing is a $30 add-on.

Do you maintain ponds you did not build?

Yes. We take over other builders' ponds all the time, and we can retrofit the filtration if it was undersized.

Do you net ponds in the fall?

Yes. Fall netting starts at $450 for small features and from $650 for large features that need 2 nets.

What do seasonal cleanouts cost?

Fountainscapes run $250 to $450. Small water features run $450 to $850. Medium to large features run $850 to $2,500. Multi-year sludge removal is billed extra.

Why is my pond green?

Accepted Answer

Green water is almost always a filtration and balance problem. Usually the filter, the UVC or the pump is undersized for the water volume and the fish load. We size the system correctly and the green goes away.

Clear water or your money back. It comes from the right combination of filter, UVC and pump for your pond size and fish load. It works on new builds and on retrofits of an existing pond.

Do ponds attract mosquitoes?

No. Mosquitoes need still water. Moving water and fish take care of it.

Can my koi stay outside in the winter?

Yes, in Central NC koi overwinter in a properly built pond. We keep the water moving and set the pond up so gases can escape.
